The Bandit Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in New Braunfels, Texas.
The Bandit golf course first opened for play in 1997. The course was designed by Keith R. Foster.
Nestled in the beautiful hill county, The Bandit Golf Club is located in New Braunfels near Lake McQueeney on FM 725. The Bandit is officially part of a housing subdivision; however, homes along the course are scarce. You're more likely to see deer meandering beside Long Creek or a hawk swooping along the fairway than an oversized Texas mansion. A quiet secluded atmosphere permeates the course, providing a true escape from the city.
Significant elevation changes, sculpted fairways, and consistent greens are characteristics that contribute to The Bandit being repeatedly listed as one of the Best Public Courses in Texas. The hilly terrain provides welcome relief for Texans used to playing the flatlands, that along with a great layout explains why golfers come from as far away as Houston and Dallas to play The Bandit.

A little pricey but a great layout. The green not in decent shape was number 18, the rest were ok. It should be better by now. From the TIPS this is one hard golf course.

Great, hilly layout forces you to think about placement when on most tees. Takes one or two rounds to figure out the course. Not for beginers, very enjoyable for better players.

Greens putt very good. Good pace of play for a week-end.

If the greens had been anything other than in terrible shape, this course would be great. The sooner golf courses realize what they are selling is a "product" and their rates should reflect the condition of their product the better off all the golfers will be...

Difficult but fun course for the average to good golfer. Well worth the trip from Houston.

Great layout and aesthetic layout. You must play to truly enjoy this track. Greens are in great shape, but due to terrain running in opposite direction of what you would think. Have to play twice to get figured out, but that is the fun of the course. Must play!!
